 Del Castillo $21.49 When I heard this music I immediately bought every album they have ever made. This is music to make you feel good. The downside is that some nights I cannot sleep because the music keeps going through my head. Latin inspired, Reggie-ish, half English, half Spanish. It's all good!  Mexican Spaghetti Western $13.98 This is everything you like about the Spaghetti Western sound tracks with a rock beat and present day production values. Not every song rocks hard, but they're all good. Definitely a south of the border flavor. It comes with a short DVD with two live performances. If you like this, get the soundtrack from "Once Upon a Time in Mexico".  Vida $18.98 This is an amazing CD. Having seen these guys perform a couple of times, and being a guitarist myself, I have this to add to the other reviews: On the CD you will hear some of the most complex and technically proficient classical guitar work that has ever been recorded. But when you see them live, you understand that these guys cannot possibly be human, because a great deal of that material is played by *both* Rick and Mark del Castillo *simultaneously* and in perfect synchronization. I literally could not believe what I was seeing. Catch them live, if you can. |
