WARNING this product is not to be confused with a curl cream, it enhances your curls, you need to use another curl cream after for hold. I use Bumble & Bumble curl conscious (medium to thick)

First, let me define my curls. I am of mixed race, African American and Caucasian, and have very thick, coily-curly textured hair. After growing out my relaxer, I tried many different hair products, salon and ethnic specific, and this one is the best thus far overall.
PROS-lightweight, tames curls, tames some frizz, non greasy (-No jheri curls), maintains fullness (-No heavy droopy hair, and maintains softness (-No hard, sticky, crunchy hair, just touchable hair)
CONS- requires a lot of product ($$$), doesnt eliminate all frizz
To style I have to dampen my hair and finger part in two inch sections, smoothing the cream on as I go. Paying attention to evenly distribute to the ends minimizes more of the frizz. Blowdrying with cool air and a diffuser only takes a few minutes, and also helps control frizz.
The Luscious Curls Conditioner is a good product, but dont waste your money on the shampoo, its very drying.

I have thick, coarse hair and I'm Hispanic (volume is never an issue with me). I have used only mousse in the past as it holds my hair well, but I have the crunchy, wet hair look. I have wavy hair and curly hair. Upon hearing great things about this gel I decided to give it a try. I bought the trial size. I used the No-poo and conditioner as instructed. I then proceeded to apply the gel. I don't know if I didn't put in enough gel, or if my hair is just beyond repair, but my hair was dry and frizzy all day. I'll give it another try and apply more, and hopefully it works. =)
