When I see this Gourmet expansion for $7 on the manufacturer site and $16.50 "on sale" here, I really have a problem, especially when it states that the normal price is 20.63 and "you save 4.13 (20%)".

I've seen several cases like this, where Amazon is featuring third-party vendors selling products for around double (or even more) normal retail price, and this is a very disappointing trend.

this is a wonderful cook book for folk who are not monkeys - it gives suggestions on food,spices,... that go together - you are the master of how much. this is my third copy that has been borrowed and never returned - and countless other associates that have scanned my copy and purchased their own. my son was amazed how food pairing is not a new show on the food channel

This is one of my first raw vegan food books I bought, of which I have quite a few now. Great looking recipes. Fun to read and imagine. Only drawback is the sheer quantity of ingredients for most of the recipes, thus I have only ever made a few recipes from this book. The recipes are tasty, if you are transitioning into raw foods or just like gourmet once in awhile. But I don't enjoy using a lot of spices, condiments, ACV, miso, salt, Braggs, etc, which she uses plenty of. I'm very fond of this book, though I rarely if ever use it anymore. I cannot afford the zillion ingedients for one recipe, plus the fact that I prefer things more 80/10/10 style and natural. I still recommend even just to have in the home library.
