There is much good advice found in this book. Information about cruises is voluminous on the internet, but varies widely depending on the informant's tastes. As a novice cruiser I wanted a handbook with concise information and phone numbers, addresses, and web sites all in one place. This is a good source for that information.

My wife and I bought the rum runners for a Mexican cruise. We filled all bags to capacity and they easily held a handle (1.75L) and fifth (1L) of booze. To be safe, we put the large bags into zip lock bags in case there was any leakage, but we didn't have any problems. The plastic funnel that comes with the package is a bit flimsy and already cracked, but I won't hold that against them too much as it still works. We are going to lend them to our parents for a cruise and will definitely take them on another cruise next year. Great value for the price and would definitely suggest them for ANYBODY looking to bring along some booze onto a cruise.

I am reading this book right now and I'm about half way through it. I am enjoying it very much. It is an easy read. It's like reading a daily journal of this couple from when they booked the cruise and while they are on it. I have been on 10 cruises, so reading this brings me back to the ships I've been on and can relate to what is happening to them. It is a fun, lighthearted book that I would recommend reading.
