In the picture, the cross looks a little dull. When I opened the box, the cross looked much better than the picture. It looks very expensive and very shiny. It looks almost as if it was made from white gold. It is much fancier than the picture shows, but looks absolutely wonderful with a small box chain. I would recommend this pendant to anyone wanting a dressy, cross necklace. It was better than expected. The only thing I did not like is that the shipping price was a little high for how little the package was.

I am very disappointed in this necklace/pendant. It is way smaller than I expected. In the amazon.com description it said, 'small' but this is smaller than a dime. The chain is shorter than 18" even with the 2" extender. I think this should be listed as a young persons necklace/pendant...maybe for a petite teen or someone. I gave it 2 stars only because I think a teen would love it, and the fit would be more appropriate. I think I will take the cross off of the chain and hang it (the cross) on my charm bracelet. :)
Next time show the size next to a coin or something so we have an idea of the exact size of jewelry, etc.

I've been wanting a cross necklace for quite some time now, and I finally got this one. I was not disappointed. The cross itself is beautiful and very well crafted.

However, the chain caused some problems. On the part where it latches together, the retractable piece that holds the chain together doesn't close all the way, so if you lie down for a while, there is a very good chance it will fall off and end up inside your shirt. I dearly wanted to give this 5 stars, but the chain set it back.
