NOW That's What I Call A Country Christmas
NOW That's What I Call A Country Christmas

$19.98
This two CD set has some of the best country artists today performing great songs both traditional and relatively new! These artists all sing with a lot of style and sophistication; and those country vibes are awesome! The quality of the sound is excellent and I like that artwork as well even if it is a bit typical of this "NOW! music" brand of CD.

The first CD has so many great tunes I scarcely know where to start. Darius Rucker's "Winter Wonderland" is quite well done; He sings very well and the strength in his voice impresses me greatly. The musical arrangement is lush and it perfectly complements his vocals, too. Brad Paisley's "Away in a Manger" charms me with its beauty; and I really like Julianne Hough's stunning rendition of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."

Brooks & Dunn do a very moving version of "I'll Be Home for Christmas;" this sentimental, romantic ballad was always one of my favorites. Luke Bryan's "Run Run Rudolph" is hot to the touch; and there's yet another gem in "The First Noel" by Josh Turner. "The Man with the Bag" has a swingin' sound to it that is very creative indeed; and the first CD ends with "Silver Bells" by Kenny Chesney.

The second CD continues the outstanding music. Gene Autry's "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" is a classic charmer that showcases Gene's superb singing voice; and Vince Gill's "O Little Town of Bethlehem" is very pretty with that backup chorus harmonizing well. Glen Campbell's "O Holy Night" is a major highlight of the second CD; and I really like Tanya Tucker's "What Child Is This;" her excellent diction enhances her performance all the more. Great!

Another ageless classic would have to be Brenda Lee's "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree;" Brenda sings this with lots of positive energy and she really makes this shine! Kenny Rogers' "Kentucky Homemade Christmas" has him squarely in the spotlight which is right where he belongs! That arrangement works wonders for the song, too. The second CD ends with two gorgeous numbers: Johnny Cash sings "Silent Night" and Burl Ives performs "A Holly Jolly Christmas." Burl always liked to sing "A Holly Jolly Christmas;" and you can feel his happy vibes when you hear him do this faultlessly.

If holiday music with a country twist is what you like (as do I), then you owe it to yourself to get this two CD set for your music collection. This two CD set is full of such wonderful holiday music that you can truly enjoy it at any time of the year!

I don't care for the real "twangy" classic country as much as the contemporary kind. This is a great mix that I listen to in my car all the time. A few years ago, I never cared for country at all, but I'm slowly becoming a fan.
Country Save HE Laundry Detergent, Powder, 160-Load, 10-lb Boxes (Case of 4)
Country Save HE Laundry Detergent, Powder, 160-Load, 10-lb Boxes (Case of 4)

$67.99
I bought it guided by [...] as affordable and ecological high efficiency detergent for my laundry. I am not disappointed a bit. The powder has no scent which makes it great and does not mess up with the scent of my fabric softner. I add OXY to my whites for added stain removal purpose however without OXY this laundry detergent still gives me a lot of satisfaction in removal of all dirt from my clothes. I don't soil them completely, that'a another thing and if I do - OXY takes over to clean my white socks. Powder does not form a foam which is great for my front loader. Overall I love this detergent and won't trade it for any other. Even though it's only available online (I checked NY's Whole Food stores - it is not available anywhere) I don't regret getting four 10-lb boxes. I sold one to a friend that shares my opinion, but hold onto others cause that's the detergent I needed and I am planning on using it forever. I still have leftovers from Tide and Vizir which I also like, but comparing all of them - efficiency is about the same and the cost of using Country Save beats them all - 9 cents per laundry. I use it as recommended 1/2 of this little cup provided (I have 10 lb front loader washer) and it works as good as Tide or any other leading brand detergent. I even got rid of yellow stains under armpits that I had for a while on my white T-shirts, even though I used OXY before and it did not work that well with other detergents. I highly recommend it - for the price, no scent, no perfumes, it is great for people with allergies (no more skin problems with poorly rinsed laundry). It is really great and above all ecological and biodegradable!
Old Country Rose Napkin Set of 4
Old Country Rose Napkin Set of 4

These damask napkins are made of a high quality damask. The pattern woven into the damask is of roses, and there is a rose printed border that perfectly matches the pattern in Old Country Roses china. It is very beautiful and heavy material - not cheap and flimsy.
