When you're in your fifties and find out that you can never eat gluten again, it's depressing. By this age, we are used to foods tasting a certain way. Gluten-free foods seldom (if ever) taste like we think food should taste, but all said, this Pamela's cornbread isn't bad. It's certainly the best G-F cornbread mix I've found. My nieces loved it and were happy to take home the left-overs.

What an awesome book! So many recipes and full of information on cornbread from all over the world. For people who like cornbread, this book is wonderful. Got a lot of good ideas- things I wouldn't have thought of on my own.
I don't buy cookbooks much anymore because I just use the internet, but this is too good to pass up.

With these pans, I feel like I am taking a walk back in time. I grew up with pans similar to these and love them. I know they are the old fashioned type which have to be seasoned, but once seasoned and if cared for properly, they will last generations. Just don't wash them in soap and water and never put them in a dishwasher. After you use them, clean them with hot water and dry thoroughly. Then they are ready to use again.
