I bought a basketful of Lights of America bulbs at Walmart and like a fool tossed away the sales slip and packaging. These lights fail in quarters, they just don't conk out but conk out they do. Almost all mine, about 10 of various shapes died quickly. And I thought I was getting a bargain with this junk between $5-$10. I checked out Amazon's best and they are beautiful. You should see my kitchen and bedroom. Suckers, beware of this junk. There's good stuff on the market out there, it's all on the internet and Amazon, just be sure to keep proof of purchase and make sure they have a multi-year guarantee. The ones I got here have a 3-year guarantee and they look great. This technology has been around for years in little tiny bulbs, but making the big ones is proving harder. All the ones I got from Amazon use 7 watts and are at least as bright as a 60-watt bulb, but I DID pay for them. . . .
