I just bought these at Michael's for my 3 year old son. We do a lot of arts and crafts, and we absolutely loved this set. They are shorter than your average marker, but the colors are very bold, and they are washable. It telescopes up making it 3 tiers total, and once up you simply twist it counterclockwise to lock it in place. The top also snaps together so that it stays up and open leaving the markers easily accessible. I really wished that Crayola had designed it to rotate - that would have made it perfect! But overall for us, 5 stars.
