This book is just a bunch of interviews with some programmers you might recognize and some you may not. It seems to be pretty lightly edited and some people may find some sections boring (and others may not)! "Coders at Work" is a fascinating insight into the education, careers and minds of some pretty big names in the field. I ordered the book before reading some of the negative reviews and I'm very glad I did. I almost hesitated to start reading it thinking that it was going to be boring and dry but it wasn't. Yes, there is definitely heavy use of acronyms and terms that I wasn't familiar with but to me it was a learning opportunity and a chance to dig a little deeper to figure out what the interviewees were talking about.

It's tough to predict if this book will appeal to you. If you're a seasoned software industry professional with a deep love for the 'craft' of coding then you'll love this collection if interviews. I certainly did and it reminded me of why I got into this industry in the first place and it rekindled a love for coding.

Gentle Ben: The Movie

This movie states that it is based on the book, Gentle Ben, by Walt Morey. It is VERY loosely based on that story. The movie tells a good story, but very little of it resembles the wonderful tale told in the book.

This review is for the large model, with that being said I am pleased with the size it fits my 13 inch macbook pro great, yet I believe Timbuk2 needs to come out with an XL size for this model bag because even though it fits my 13 inch fine the larger 15 and 17 and 18 inch laptops may fit but there would be minimal room for other items. With that being said I purchased the large in the blue color for [...] bucks with shipping included which is a great price, I felt there was no reason to purchase a more popular color for over twice as much and I am very happy with the blue color it looks real nice and is great for a guy in my opinion or girl. Ok now on to quality the inside is great where your laptop resides its lined with a soft material and extra padded to protect your laptop from nics and scratches and bumps and bruises, The messenger strap is real nice because you can sling the bag over your shoulder and its real comfortable and looks real stylish. This is my first day with the bag so if I find any more major pros or cons I will make sure to update and edit this review. The two things I want to stress are the large size really isn't that big and also the material and the build quality is top of the line you will not be disappointed everything about the bag screams quality and great design and workmanship Timbuk2 really does turn out a top notch product I could not be more pleased.
