The second boy Neil lives a complete different life. He was molested by his baseball coach and has in his teens found an "easy" way of making money, hustling.
The story follows Neil and Brian from childhood to ado lessons, through heartache and denial, unknowing and finally discovering the truth.
This movie leaves you hanging desperate for what possibly can be in the future for these two extraordinary people.

Have always liked this movie and wanted to own it. Living in CA, what I do like about this movie is about the way things are in some parts of this state. Towards the end, the team did not win the finals BUT what matters is the passion that every player had. Secondly, the way coach made every hostile individual come together and work as a team. Excellent screenplay, can't say enough about this movie. KUDOS to Ken Carter - the coach whom the story was based upon. Wish every 5-10 yrs a Ken Carter is born and be the Catharsis of the society!!!

Is there someone you work with who can never succeed at one job before they promote him to another, circumventing all rationale concerning "the best person for the job"? Gregg Doyel somehow worms his way upward on his career path even though many bloggers - let alone other columnists - are superior writers and investigative journalists. This book confounds the mind. You constantly wonder "how did someone this poor at writing ever get a book published?". My brother gave me this as a Christmas gift. We are both Duke fans and have been since 1972. He had the best of intentions considering the title. However, my brother, who is an accomplished public speaker and teacher, would have vomited upon reading such incomprehensible drivel.
