Made of the heaviest weight wool these shirts are handsome with a rustic charm. When worn over a pair of thermal underwear, I find absolutely no need to add a sweater or other layers when performing outdoor tasks. I have yet to find anything as warm as the Woolrich Original Buffalo Check Wool shirt. Beside being warm these shirts wear like iron and are worth their higher price because of their durability. If there is a downside, it is the fact that the weave of the material makes them feel a bit coarse against your skin. It is not really a problem for me, but people with sensitive skin might want to try one to make sure they will be comfortable with the shirt before they spend the $80+ dollars. If you can tolerate the wool and want the warmest shirt money can buy, than look no further than the Woolrich Buffalo Check Wool shirt.
