![]() Burn Notice - Season One $49.98 Season 1 opens as Micheal is trying to do a deal in the Middle East, he gets a phone call saying he's burned, then soon wakes up in Miami. Lucky for him he has people there... his ex-girlfriend Fiona, ex-Navy Seal friend Sam, his Brother & Mother, to help him out or get in the way. Lots of fun times for the viewer with one liners, explosions, pretty people & just original plots. Go get your copy, I did and Season 2, can hardly wait for Season 3!!! ![]() Burn $19.95 This book has a very literary feel about it. James Patrick Kelly has some quite wonderful, evocative passages, some intricate, subtle, and flawed characters, and a topic that resonates both with current events and with lovers of Thoreau. As an exercise in science fiction world-building (both political and geographical), however, there is a lack of complexity and reality that I think many scifi readers will find disappointing. Add in a few jumpy plot conveniences and a fairly silly and non-credible major character (The High Gregory) and you end up being vaguely dissatisfied. You may have gotten some extremely rich and tasty literary calories, but at the end you are still hungry. Donald J. Bingle, Author of Forced Conversion. ![]() Burn! $14.98 Marlon Brando called this his "best work" when interviewed a year before he died. excellent acting . very enjoyable. first saw the movie in Monterrey, Mexico with spanish subtitles. great movie. ![]() Ice: A Novel $22.00 I'm a fan of Linda Howard, but I gotta say, this book is a complete joke. Don't even waste your time or money. Not only is it too short (finished it in under an hour), it's completely unrealistic. You literally need to check logic at the door if you read this book. |
