Battlestar Galactica - Season 4.0
Battlestar Galactica - Season 4.0

$49.98
The beginning of the end of the best television series I've ever seen. Season 4 picks up immediately after Season 3's awesome finale without skipping a beat and proceeds to blow us away more and more. One of the coolest things about Battlestar Galactica is that unlike many other TV series, whereby the third or fourth season, we just watch it out of habit or to see what happens, Battlestar keeps giving us more and more of a reason to watch. The action and drama don't stop and we are drawn in even more than before as new revelations come about. Another thing I particularly enjoy about Battlestar is that the mysteries are cool and pretty clever, unlike some shows like LOST, where they seem to be tacked-on and have no backbone. The character development continues on as well, seeing our favorites take unexpected turns, twists and even drops. I had better stop here and just say that this a very worthwhile purchase. While it is unfortunate that the box sets for Seasons 2 and 4 were split into two, making us pay more to get them, the show is so good it makes up for it... at least for me. Enjoy.

I have to admit there was a point during my Galactica voyage where I almost jumped ship. The Pilot and immediate subsequent episodes really drew me in. I was hooked. And then the show started wandering and teetering. I almost bailed. I was particularly annoyed with the character of Gaius Baltar, not the actor, but the show's character choices. I battled through some boring episodes and then bam I was hooked, right about the end of Season 2. And then season three hit and I figured it was going to go bad yet again being away from the ship, on New Caprica, but it was actually better. The show developed this interesting pull. This show really is enjoyable during this season.

The miniseries on disc 1 of Battlestar Galactica Season 1 would, as a standalone movie, compete with some of my favorite films. Taken with the rest of Season 1, this is some of the most entertaining television I've ever watched and is a must-see for science fiction fans. Though it's not without the occasional silly trope or unbelievable twist, Season 1 of Galactica stands as evidence of exactly how far the show tumbled in its third and fourth seasons.

I origionaly played the game with a goup of friends who followed the show religiously. Not knowing anything about Battlestar Galactica, I jumpped right in and immersed myself in the game. I had a blast even though the Humans lost.

Every week the humans lost and every week we would be slighly depressed, but every week we went back and had a blast. Now that I'm deployed in Afghanisan, I ordered the game to share it with all my friends and we have so much fun playing.

The rules are easy to follow, every game is different, and you will learn to distrust everyone. Best friends start acusing each other of being Cylons and order delves into chaos pretty quickly.

Like I said, this is a fun game wether or not you have ever watched Battlestar Galactica. I recommend it though it does take a few hours to play, I garentee you'll be having so much fun you'll forget about the time.

Anyways, thats just my two cents.
