It was written by Cindy Post Senning and Peggy Post (of the Emily Post Institute) and illustrated by Leo Landry. In the book, two friends are shown demonstrating ways to share and care for each other. The text is simple but sweet, and the illustrations drive the concepts. The book also includes a one-page "Dear Parents" note explaining the rationale. If you or your kids like the Care Bears, then this is something you may like as well. Other than that, it's a nice book to teach basic concepts of empathy and manners to little kids, as well as anyone who enjoys looking at well-illustrated picture books. |
