This is a really exciting approach to natural family planning. The writing is clear and informative, and there are lots of charts and illustrations to help convey the information. The book has a lot of scientific information but doesn't read like a dry, clinical, manual.

Today Sponge is a great alternative to other forms of birth control. I was happy to see it back on the market last year, and upset when it abruptly disappeared. As the other reviewer said, though, it is once again back on the market and now widely-available in drugstores, and only about $14.99 (at the most - depends on where you get it) for 3 sponges. I'm not sure why amazon is still charging over 3 times what it costs in stores, as if it is a hard-to-come-by item.
