Why in the world would the producers soil such a genius comedic gem with these worthless, unfunny and disgusting "bonus scenes?" I got this for Christmas last year along with my fancy new Blu-ray player, yet was so utterly disappointed that there wasn't even a "theatrical version" available to play, instead having to suffer through the trash they stuck in for no apparent reason.

IL-2 Sturmovik Birds Of Prey - PSP

The video clips and other reviews are for the PS3 and XBox versions of this game. The PSP version is an anemic watered down boring hastily created version of the game. The developers really took a snooze on this one. While the game was mildly entertaining for a few hours, the graphics are very mediocre and the playability is lame. Don't get me wrong, IL-2 for the PC is one of my favorite flight sims to this day. Ace Combat X, IMHO, blows way IL-2 for the PSP. Talk about 'arcade-like'? IL-2 for the PSP is like a mid-80's WW2 arcade shooter. I'm wondering why the developers at 505 Games thought it was a good idea to give all the German pilots Russian accents?? Oh wait...505 Games is a Russian company. I'm guessing they just cheaped out and had one of their own guys do the voice dubs rather than hire someone with a real German accent. But that's a minor point compared to the real issues with this game. It just sucks all around. Boring, poorly done, no depth, horrible graphics....I could go on and on but I don't want to devote any more time to this title than I've already wasted. The best thing about this game? I finished it fairly quickly then I sold it on eBay.
