Connie writes of her heartbreaking breast cancer diagnosis, which happens in her early thirties and while she is working full-time and a mom to two young boys, ages one and three. She shares her many fears immediately right after diagnosis and of not being around for her children as they grow. However, Connie is not held down long by her fears and anxieties, but instead takes action, seeking out the best medical care with multiple opinions and turning to God for healing and strength. Her acceptance of healing from God is inspiring; especially when she explains how she believes she was healed from possible liver metastasis.

As the story continues, Faith is constantly revealing how she has grown closer to God via her experiences with cancer. She tells how God has healed her of not only cancer, but of prior hurts and child abuse, propelling Faith to overcome many life obstacles, which were in her past. She allows Christ to fully enter her heart and in doing so many other people in her life are inspired and also give their lives to Christ. Her story certainly is a story of faith!

By the end of the story, Faith reveals not only how cancer has radically changed her life, but how her spiritual being in relation to Christ has forever changed. No longer is Faith a woman of the world, racing through life, not really knowing what is important to her. She is now a new creature in Christ, who fully values her family and God and lets her light shine for others. And believe me; she doesn't want anyone left behind in her journey into eternity with God, as she continually shares scriptures and prayers for salvation throughout her book.

I enjoyed reading Faith's story as a young breast cancer survivor and Christian of many years. I believe that it is an encouraging story of faith, which offers hope to other women in similar situations and shows them a path of acceptance and hope via Christ. Hats off to you, Connie, for a story well written and inspiring!
