![]() Bear's New Friend $16.95 My four year old and I really enjoy all of the bear story adventure books. This one was about a little guy that was too shy or scared to come out and meet his new friends. Bear and his forest friends helped to coax their soon to be new friend out and once they did, everyone enjoyed themseleves. Great conversation starter especially with school just beginning! This is a strong and durable board book with lots of colorful pictures for little siblings to follow along with. Recommended for the toddler, Preschool, and Kindergarten age groups. ![]() Bear Snores On $16.95 This book has become a bedtime favorite. My daughter loves all the creatures and their little party. The details of the teapot and the food are very interesting to her. She also loves when the bear sneezes. I love the repeating line, "But the bear snores on" because the repetition allows her to know the line and predict when it's coming so she can say it along with me or Daddy. Her ability to "read" the book that way is an important pre-reading skill, plus, it's fun! ![]() Gund 18-Inch Brighton Bear $19.99 I bought this bear for my mom (70's) who did a stint in the hospital. It was really soft and cuddly. I have no idea how a child might view this product but I think soft and cuddly in your 50's is quite nice! ![]() The Bear $9.95 This film is very enjoyable, and considering it is not an animated film, it moves along well and interestingly. The only bit I found gratuitous is when the big bear goes off with a female bear and their activity is indicated by furious moving of bushes and it doesn't really add anything to the movie. Kids probably find it confusing and adults might give it a "tee-hee."I have nothing against bears doing what bears have to do, but in this case, it takes a little away from the director's artistry. Nevertheless, I love "The Bear." |
