Great bank. Solid, durable, just like the silver one I had 30 years ago. Reliably counts change (except pennies). Has a slot in the back to slip in pennies, dollars (coins and bills). I love it. My five year old doesn't like the fact he has to wait every $[...] for the front door to unlock and get some money out to spend. Isn't that the point, to teach restraint from impulse spending, as well as counting?! Only drawback is that the little front door to get money out is a touch flimsy and I am nervous that it will be damaged while pushing it in to remove money. You will not be disappointed with this purchase!!!

This pig e bank is very cute! My kids like putting the money in & even re-counting it over & over. It did get a little annoying when we first got it as my daughter had A LOT of change to put in, but that was only initially. She really likes seeing her total amount increase!

This is a great tool for my 6-year old. It's a great concept. But it is difficult for my daughter to open. Kids need to be able to get in and out of this multiple times a week without an adult. One of the hatches to one of the compartments is pretty stiff and has broken. It is also a bit pricey. It is worth the dollars but there ought to be a lower cost, more durable option is needed on the market.
