 Why Good People Do Bad Things: How to Stop Being Your Own Worst Enemy $14.99 I had difficulty with this book holding my interest. Answers were much too pat and mundane. I didn't learn anything from this book like I expected to.  Bad Things Happen $24.95 First, I am a long time reader of mystery / crime novels of many new and established authors, and I have to say that Harry Dolan will be one I will follow in years to come. This first novel has created characters worth wanting to care about and follow through to the end. The story is about mystery authors who appear to live in a novel themselves. Very well constructed story with details that one will find fall in place with time. David Loogan while a mysterious character turns out to be one that you care about despite his faults. A must read for new readers in this genre. Up there with authors like Brett Battles, Robert Crais and of course Michael Connelly.  Bad Things (Theme from True Blood) $0.99 I don't like country music, but I love this song. Maybe it's because it's from True Blood, but it's a very erotic song to me. |
