I bought this because it has both a back up camera and sensors. I also liked the fact that it attaches to the license plate so I didn't have to drill any holes in my car. Other nice features are that it isn't wireless so you always get a nice clean picture on the backup camera and you don't have to separately wire the monitor to a power source because it gets its power from the backup light wire connection. Note that you have to chase a wire from the back of the trunk to the dash where you intend to install the monitor. I accomplished this by removing the door sill kick plates, which were attached with plastic push pins.

I had several minor install problems when attaching the sensor bar to my license plate. First, in my state (MA) you can't attach anything to the license plate that hides any part of the plate. The kit supplies some brackets but they weren't the right size to hang the sensor bar below my license plate. I made some brackets from aluminum bar stock that I got from Home Depot. The brackets were fairly easy to make and only required a hack saw and a drill. Once installed I found that I was getting a false signal because the license plate is slightly recessed on my '09 Camry, which caused the sensors to pick up my stop light housings. This was easily corrected by simply bending the brackets that I made to stand off the senor bar far enough so that the sensors wouldn't pick up my stop light housings.

One installed the back up sensors and camera worked great! The back up camera is clear both day and night. The sensors start picking up objects when you are about 5' away. The monitor starts beeping and the display shows some hash marks indicating how far you are away. As you get closer the beeping increases in frequency until you get a steady beep and the display says STOP. On average this happens about 2' from an object. The camera has a wide angle lens so objects appear farther away than they really are. However, with a few uses I can now back up to within 1' from an object using the sensors and the back up camera.

If you own a SUV, truck, van or car with limited rear visibility this is a great safety device. I highly recommend it. The quality is top notch.

As with "The Sopranos," "Sons" has plenty of guns and violence, but it prefers to find its drama in the dialogue, in the internal struggles of the characters. Here, of course, there's a much larger Shakespearean mythology at work.

And though that may prove to be too obvious in time, Sutter shows in the first two episodes that he's a storyteller who can lay down an intriguing narrative framework. There's a Mexican gang working to mess with the Sons of Anarchy for selling weapons to their rivals in Oakland. There are white supremacists trying to upstage the Sons of Anarchy right in Charming.

And though the local police department and county sheriff are on the take, there's a rising force in the police department ready to clean up the town, not to mention feds ready to pounce.

Elsewhere there are other struggles. Jax is feeling the changes of impending fatherhood. He believes that the club's philosophy - "brains before bullets" - has been all but abandoned. There's a mystery about Tara's return to town (it has raised flags with Gemma - probably the smartest one in the club). And then there's the manuscript Jax finds, which raises doubts about all kinds of things.

Few series have exploded onto the scene with such a rich array of potential stories and inherently interesting characters. A biker gang. What took them so long to get here?
