I bought this book when I was younger.. Maybe 14 or 15? I read through it and threw it in a corner somewhere, because I decided it was stupid and I didn't want to waste time doing all those exercises. I thought, "wow, I can't believe I bought into this one.. Oh well."

Well.. Then a few months later, I had run out of books to read at my house and I picked it up again. I did the exercises and made the pictures he says to make with construction paper and sat there doing the exercises out of curiosity and sheer boredom.. And... They worked!

I could see purple and green mostly. I spent a lot of time practicing on my hands. I only practiced so much, though, then it became something I did just for fun when I was bored. I never could see a whole lot, sometimes when I was sitting in assemblies in high school, I'd zone out and look at the very light auras around the heads of the students in front of me. Sometimes, I'd see the ones around my teacher's heads if they were in front of the blackboard.

I am going to buy this book again (I've since lost it), because I haven't been able to see them in awhile and I'm learning about energy medicine, so I'd like to see if I can learn to see them better this time.

Sadly enough this is Fabi���n Bielinsky's second and last feature film, he passed away shortly after finishing it.

I think this is a highly underrated film. Yes it may not be a very fast paced film, but the subtleties found and achieved by Ricardo Darin's performance are magnificent. To me, he's the Al Pacino of Latin America when Pacino was PACINO, if you catch my drift.

A man realizing this fantasy, one that I could relate to because on more than one occasion I have thought the same thoughts, was just outstanding to watch. How different real life is from fantasy, how easily things can go differently than planned... all shown in this wonderful film.

If you liked 9 Queens, Fabi���n Bielinsky's previous film, and like Darin's performances, then I can almost guarantee you'll like this film.

This book was extremely down to earth and realistic without being scholarly and heady. I loved the personal touch the author gave the book, so you felt like you were dealing with a real person and not someone who thinks they know everything. Though a bit preachy at times I enjoyed her style, and the examples of how focusing on her own healing and aura work helped her life. The exercises in this book take time to practice and master, so if you expect to get the most out of this book do not expect a quick read. I also love that the exercises build upon each other, so with each chapter you learn a new dimension of relating to and healing your aura. Practical for the beginner, but extremely helpful if you have gone through difficult times and need to focus on healing yourself. I would dare to say it would even be helpful to someone looking for self-healing without delving too deep into new age literature. I picked up this book after a year in a emotionally abusive relationship, and it has made a world of difference in how I came to view myself again in a positive, empowered light-giving up some of that old baggage very effectively! This book is focused on self-healing and extremely helpful if that is what you are reading it for.

The translation is clear, but this volume really calls for an academic introduction: some sort of biographical or thematic essay on the work itself. I was disappointed to find that this edition has neither. Again, beyond this, the translation is clear and the writing is certainly large enough to read.
