![]() BlackBerry Bold 9700 Phone (AT&T) $499.99 The Blackberry Bold 9700 is a great new Blackberry with speed that I have yet to see on any model out there. Before this model my favorite was the Blackberry 8900 which lacked 3g capabilities and thus was a little tedious at times. The 9700 truly has everything that you will ever want out of a Blackberry: * 480x360 High Resolution Screen * Touch Sensitive Track PAD Which is FANTASTIC (the track ball on previous models was always a problem) * A new upgraded CPU which makes this device SCREAM with speed. * 3G and EDGE Cellular Service * Wi-Fi * 3.2 MP Camera with Auto Focus, Image Stabilization and a LED Flash. * A new operating system - Version 5.0.x to be specific. * Includes a 2gb Micro SD Card for storage of Music, Images, Videos, and Applications. * Super clear speaker both in the handset and as a speakerphone. Loud and Clear... (Note, the previous bold had stereo speakers, this one does not) * Micro USB Charging (Industry standard - previous bold had mini-usb) * Elegant design with leather embossed battery cover If you are looking to find a negative here then you will not...I have used these devices ever since the first one was introduced in the mid/late nineties and I can say will full confidence that it is the BEST BLACKBERRY I have ever used. PS: You will see an identical review of this unit for the T-Mobile network...which is the only negative. I am a corporate user and we have both AT&T and TMO....AT&T is the clear leader with this device.. Please ask me any and all questions via the comments system and I will answer them as best as I can. PS: Quick Note: I have a leather holster for my 8900 - the 9700 fits in it perfectly. ![]() AT&T DECT 6.0 Black/Silver Digital 3-Handset Answering System (CL82309) $79.95 I bought these phones hesitantly-it seems that the other expandable systems I've tried just weren't very good...They seemed to suffer from interference, poor range and bad sound quality. But to my suprise, overall, these phones have performed perfectly. I have the answering system and 6 total handsets. The range of the handsets, the call and sound quality, and the overall workmanship of the handsets and base unit are just great. I have been completely satisfied. I don't really care about the absence of speed dialing because I am able to access the directory with the touch of a button and I never remember who is attached to what number anyway. Just scroll through your list and press call when you see the name you want. If you want to add a caller from the missed calls list, just press the menu key for options. I like the voicemail notification-it appears on each handset and the base unit. You can also check your regular messages on any handset by accessing the menu. You can also use any handset to call another handset. The range is suprisingly wide too. I can stand at the other end of my driveway, about 120 feet away and I can still hear perfectly. For the price, the 3 handset system was a really great deal. It was priced at less than $70.00. After testing out the system for a week, I bought an additional 3 handsets separately. If I had known beforehand that I would have been this happy with the set, I would have bought a larger system to begin with. ![]() BlackBerry Bold 9000 Phone, Black (AT&T) $499.99 This phone is a high-quality piece of equipment that is just the right size with just the right amount of gadgetry and pizzaz. I didn't want an iPhone b/c well, frankly, it's becoming a sort of marker for the rampant DB population in my opinion--I just wanted a nice phone that I could check email on, surf the internet on the rare occasion I needed to outside of work or home, and communicate with friends via text, FB, and messenger. This phone looks good, is very easy to navigate, and can take a licking and keep on ticking----I dropped it outside my house and it laid in thick dew for 10 hours---started right up the next day when I found it and let it dry out. The screen is absolutely perfect---good size and excellent resolution. The apps I've downloaded are useful and not difficult to navigate--but in all honesty, I don't anticipate using those very much. Great phone, and with the deals they have for it---great price. Get it now before you have to get the redesigned Bold they just released---smaller screen and not as attractive, IMO. ![]() AT&T DECT 6.0 Black/Silver Digital Accessory Handset Only (CL80109) $24.95 I bought one of these for work (the three handset option) and one for home(the four option with an additional handset). I much prefer the A T & T to any other brand I've tried and I was not disappointed this time around. Adding an additional set is a breeze and now I've got phones in the den, kitchen, basement, office, and master bedroom. The features are easy to figure out and the sound quality excellent. Highly recommended. |
