We discovered Article One at a Newsboys concert, they were one of the opening acts. We were drawn in by the violin, not a common site in this type of band. So, we purchased the cd to hear more and we were pleasantly surprised that the cd is awesome! A lot of times you may be disappointed when taking a risk on a band you don't really know. Take a risk on this album and you'll be glad you did! The songs are catchy and there's not a one I don't like.

I have seen this movie several times, and now will purchase it. Anyone that thinks the government's Universal Health Care plan is going to be the cure all for health care should see this movie. Then think on expanding all that happens from just the Veteran's Administration to a National scope. Very scary. It would be like the California DMV running the insurance companies.

This hefty book (350 letter-sized pages) takes the reader through designing a writing plan, starting the article, selecting a journal, reviewing the literature, writing the article, getting feedback, editing the article and sending it out. Week X, which happens when you get the response back from the journal, is about dealing with the journal's response to your submission. Each chapter presents a lot of information in the instruction section along with workbook questions to fill in. The Daily Tasks section that follows tells the article writer what to do on a day by day basis. While this book may be too structured for successful academic writers, it's a good starting point for new writers and academics having trouble getting articles accepted.

As an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor, I think this book is a godsend. It chronicles all the nuances of article usage beyond count vs. noncount nouns, which cover only some, but not all, of the reasons for articles. After explaining that singular count nouns MUST have articles, students are still stumped on other occasions. For example, some ailments take an article while others don't. Why is that? This book answers that and many more.
