 Any Other Name - Original $0.99 This track, which I believe was also on the "American Beauty" soundtrack (I could be wrong), comes right from the heart of what I love most about Thomas Newman's work. "Any Other Name - Original" is gorgeous, haunting, melancholy, multi track music, with a distinct and disfunctional piano, which is sometimes in the lead and sometimes in the background, often, as it is here, it is both things on the same track. This track makes me feel what I sometimes feel when I am emotionally stunned. When I am trying to get my mind back in front of something significant that has just happened. As you can tell, it is difficult to put into words. But this track personifies what I look for in Thomas Newman's work. It occurs from time to time in his soundtracks for "Meet Joe Black," "The Shawshank Redemption," "American Beauty," and even "The Horse Whisperer."  Vintage Express Aging Accelerator Rack " The Wine Rack of the Future" for Wine, Whisky, Scotch, Bourbon, Tequila or Any Other Liquor (AGES WINE 10 YEARS IN DAYS) $149.95 Imagine the problems if this really worked. You might accidentally place your arm in one of the holes for 10 seconds and find your arm had aged 10 years. Alternatively you could leave a bottle in for 126 years and its resulting 4 billion year age would be greater than the Earth's.  Wicked by Any Other Name $6.99 A bit more sexually explicit than I typically prefer. Overall a lighthearted read that keeps you entertained. |
