Even the daytime activities section in this was severely lacking detail (like renting bikes or picnicing in the park). In fairness to the book, it does offer a great deal of detail about the architecture and museums of amsterdam. So if that is all you are looking for then you will not be let down as I was... Amsterdam (City Guide) $19.99 I had been to Amsterdam before without a guidebook and had a great time visiting a friend of a friend. On my second trip, this book helped me understand the neighborhoods a little better and helped in picking out a great cheap hotel in a quiet neighborhood. |
