It took me several weeks after my baby girl was born to find the baby book that I liked and once I finally found it I couldn't find the matching photo album anywhere. Once I searched online I found it on Amazon.com for the best price. It's very girlie and cute!

Most people owning this 30-song collection know the basic history behind it. What people may not necessarily be aware of are subtleties that make this particular and most recent edition differ from the preceding versions. As mentioned before by other reviewers, McCartney's bass sounds sharp, pronounced and impressive. There's a rather tricky (also impressive) sounding drum part in "Dear Prudence" that I never really even acknowledged until I heard it on this remastered version. The vocals for the chorus in "I'm So Tired" are a bit more separated and, up until I heard this version, I always thought it was a single John voice performing it. Guitar bits throughout "Yer Blues", subtle sounds and vocal parts not heard in previously issued versions of this album, as well as a more-present harmonium in "Cry Baby Cry" and an absolutely HUGE sounding orchestra in "Good Night" are just some of the features of this new edition of "The White Album" that make it stand out from the other previously issued versions. The music will always be absolutely fantastic and stand out on its own, but the clarity and incredible sound quality overall make this an essential (and worthy) purchase.

I do love this photo album. It's beautiful. I would have given it 5 out of 5 but the glue (adhesive) that attatches the sleeves to the paper is weak. As you slide the photo into the pocket, the pocket tears away from the paper a little to easily. I had to reglue (with Scrapbooking glue pen) the pocket back to the paper. There are photo books, buy pioneer that work a little better, and the sleeves are a little more durable.
