 Classics: Greatest Hits $7.99 First off, this cd has some of my favorite classical songs on it. The songs themselves are great, and many are instantly recognizable for all those who didn't know their names. The recording quality of this cd isn't great. For most people with average ears and average hardware, that won't make a difference. For the extermely intent listeners, the recording quality isn't great, and, while I would recommend any of the music on here to anyone, I just wouldn't reccomend this particular cd to those who high-powered hardware and are picky.  Mad about Movies $7.98 Mad about Movies is a marvelous collection of snippets of classical music, orchestral and operatic, that have been background music for movies. Indirectly that recording lured me to Amazon.com for shopping -- I bought my copy elsewhere. I loaned my copy to a friend who in short order became a gung-ho convert to classical music. Now we may not be keeping the economy going by our CD purchases, but we are doing our share. I could not tell you how accomplished the selected performances were. I can just tell you that I fell in love with every minute of the CD. |
