Apple Airport Express Stereo Connection Kit w/Monster Cables
Apple Airport Express Stereo Connection Kit w/Monster Cables

$49.99
I'm not sure how "battery life" applies to a set of cables.. but it's in the "attributes" list.

This is a power cord and set of cables. The cord replaces the wall-wart style OEM plug. The other cables allow you to plug the Airport into your stereo, into either RCA jacks or a TOSLink (laser ooptic cable thingy). I'm using the TOSLink (less cables to mess with).

It's nice to be able to move the appliance off of the wall, and the other cables are handy for connecting to your stereo. I have no complaints at all.
Griffin 1092-XPRSD AirBase/Desktop Stand for Airport Express
Griffin 1092-XPRSD AirBase/Desktop Stand for Airport Express

$24.99
I like Griffin products as a rule, but this one isn't so good. First a problem with the fit of the power cord into the base unit. Mine ended up with the female receptor breaking away inside. I was able coax it back out, but this shouldn't have happened. Second the fit of the base to the Express isn't much better. Takes a lot of finessing to make this thing work. It shouldn't be that hard.
Creative Labs Xmod Wireless Music System with X-Fi Technology
Creative Labs Xmod Wireless Music System with X-Fi Technology

$99.99
After waiting for a long time, I found a great deal here at Amazon. This product works as described. I can able to install (basically there is nothing to install other than connecting the audio cables and power cord ) and hear great quality sound. I have reviewed other wireless speaker systems, though those systems looks clutter free and elegant the quality of the sound is always below the par. So, I bought a pair of Bose speakers (for $69) and I am done. A perfect wireless speaker system I can move around wherever I needed in my three bedroom apartment.

Pros:
Good quality sound
Zero installation
remote control
USB power cord

Cons:
Bulky

Cheers!

Linksys WMB54G Wireless-G Music Bridge
Linksys WMB54G Wireless-G Music Bridge

$94.99
My wireless music bridge has been hooked up to my stereo system for two years now. It has been very reliable and the sound is excellent. Unfortunately, setting one of these up is not recommended for a computer novice. You will probably need to also check the instructions for your wireless router, especially if your wireless network is encrypted. If you follow the instructions you should be OK, but it might take a couple tries. Also note that this device acts as an extension to your sound card when activated. If you start playing computer games or watching videos, that audio will also play over your stereo system. For this reason, it's best not to start any other applications on your computer when broadcasting music to your stereo.

The problem with the competing Airport Express is that it only works with other Apple products (that means Itunes only). I prefer the flexibility of the WMB54G.
