Disney's Adventures in Wonderland - Helping Hands [VHS]
Disney's Adventures in Wonderland - Helping Hands [VHS]

$12.99
I already loved this show to death before I bought the VHS, but I was so excited seeing the show in such clarity! These are some of the first episodes for Adventures in Wonderland, "Techno Bunny" and "Pop Goes the Easel", the first being about Hatter and Hare creating a robot Rabbit while he's gone on vacation to take care of the palace, and Rabbit coming back to think he's been replaced and nobody loves him. The latter was about Rabbit accidentally ruining the Queen's portrait, and going about Wonderland looking for somebody who'd repaint it, but of course, all the characters are missing some portion of common sense and leave him empty handed.

I'm kind of going to assume that if you're thinking about buying this tape, you already are familiar with the show since it's kind of an old one lost in obscurity. But my very subjective joys of this tape are that I can see Hatter high-kick in such high definition (THAT MAN IS BEAUTIFUL), I learned that Hare's yellow shoes are actually sparkley (just tap them together three times!), and I can see all of the ruffled fur on Rabbit's butt. That bunny suit is absolutely hilarious to see moving about. Although poor Patrick Richwood, it was a very uncomfortable get-up at times... :D

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989 Film)
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989 Film)

$11.98
I bought this soundtrack mainly for nostalgic purposes. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and I can remember walking around the house singing the songs that played in the background of the movie. So, on a whim, a bought this soundtrack and have not regretted it! Admittedly, most of the bands on this soundtrack were no-name artists who received very little, if any, radio play and were quickly forgotten after this movie came out. However, being a huge fan of all-things-80's, I have loved listening to this CD. The artists on this CD are not Van Halen or Pat Benetar, but they do a pretty good job of ripping them off (lol) and it's fairly obvious which bands they were trying to imitate (i.e Shark Island sounds like a much less-talented Van Halen and Big Pig sounds somewhat like Pat Benetar.) Anyway, if you're into late 80's / early 90's rock music, you'll probably enjoy this CD.
