It appears to be accurate enough to compare with factory measurements, although I have not verified it with more costly, more accurate tachometers. American Weigh 600g x 0.1 Digital Gram Coin Pocket Scale Mini Accurate Gold $39.99 The scale is constructed quite nicely, and the black casing with stainless steel weighing pad adds for a nice polished look. It comes with batteries (which I discarded because they were a nameless Chinese brand) but the thought of adding batteries free of charge is nice. In the battery compartment there is a place to store an extra set of batteries (which I do, it makes it feel weightier/higher quality). It's very slim and is easily stored. Instructions are printed on the inside of the lid which is nice. Another reviewer said not to calibrate it, but I purchased a 500 gram calibrating weight and did it just to see if it would work okay and it did. The scale said 500.6 grams before I calibrated it, so it was fairly accurate to begin with and most likely won't require calibration for a while. Good looks, accurate and repeatable results, excellent price, what more could you want in a 600 gram scale? |
