im loving this album. i ordered it the same time as the 2nd disc. all i can say is thank god i listened to this one first, if not i wouldnt have bothered wasting my time.

im not the biggest fan of voice-less tribal music generally, but his tribal werks it out.

This is one of about 10 DVD's we constantly replay in our home. We bought the book and love it, too. What we love about the DVD is that is is 90% music and 'stop shot' pictures from the book itself, with 10% slow, deep, male, British narration. It gives you enough time to think, and the words are ponderful :) The pictures are as sweet as the story line. The theme creative. You will not be disappointed in wither the book or the movie. In fact, they are a beautiful complement to each other.

Carl Friedrich Abel: Six Symphonies

Abel was one of the invetors of the symphonic form. When we look back on his accomplishments we have centuries of syphonies with which to compare Abel. His symphonies are short at under ten minutes each, but they are packed full of inventiveness. Each movement is creative and full of energy. The performance by Cantilena cannot be beat. I would never have heard of Abel had in not been for Clssical net's recommendation. Thanks
