I really didn't care for this CD, and, in fact, removed most of it from my mp3 player. But I do often find myself listening to the "Revolutionary Girl Utena" closing soundtrack, and sometimes the "Crayon Kingdom" song.

So I didn't like the thorny CD, and neither did many of the other reviewers. But it had a couple of roses on it.
Your mileage may vary. It is up to you if you want to buy it for just a few songs.

OH MY GOD!!!! What a butcher job on some truly beautiful music from anime. The music from most of the anime in this CD is legendary...so is this for the absolute horrible remakes. What the HELL was this idiot trying to achieve?! This is an example of just how badly something can be done if the original artist isn't allowed to review an idoiots work before it's released. Wow...just, yeah...wow. It's that bad. No way to scrub it out of my memory now, I think I'll go get a lobotomy now.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Vol. 2

After watching "Stand Alone Complex" I really wanted to have the opening music. I had mistakenly though "Rise" on this album would be "Rise" from the title. I was wrong. The music is OK just not something I would listen to a lot. Now I have to start the hunt all over again and try and find the correct song "Rise". Wish me luck.

What can one say? Yoko Kanno once again show's her ability to compose within a wide rane of genre's. Pop, light ambient and a couple of pieces reminiscent from Cowboy Bebop. If you liked the music of Stand Alone Complex this is a no brainer!
