![]() Xiaolin Showdown $14.99 This video games was purchaed for a 9 year old little boys with autism. It arrived promptly after receiving payment. It was in the same condition in which it was advertised. I got it before Christmas and was able to give it to my son on Christmas day. He loves it and will spend hours playing it if I let him. This game was one of the items bought that money was well spent. Thank you to the seller for being true to your advertisment. ![]() Xiaolin Showdown $9.99 Kind of early in the game but I thought that they would battle mortal kombat style except in kid version. There is a battle for king of the hill and kung fu tag. The kids seem to like it but I find it boring. There seems to be other games in it which I haven't gotten to see as yet. If you kid is a fan of the cartoon I would still recommend it. ![]() Xiaolin Showdown $14.99 I haven't been gaming long and I'm an adult. My DS is my first system since an Atari!! I did play a Nintendo infrequently and now have a Wii. Anyway, this is one of my top games so far on my DS. Pros It is interesting and challenging. You have a characters to choose from with different skills. The main character seems to be the most suited for the challenges. I really enjoy the dance offs where you watch a cheerleader jump in four directions then you have to touch the screen in the same pattern or opposite pattern. Defeating foes is pretty simple but challenging when they gang up on you. There are clues to how to complete each situation. There are lots of beneficial items to find. You also get to call the other characters to help you with certain things. Cons The controls are strange. In the beginning you have a tutorial from a master. I had to give it to my husband to get over a part where you have to jump over alligator mouths. I kept drowning. It often seems like you have to push two buttons to go straight and one button makes the character move sideways. This is somewhat overcome by getting used to it. So far the stylus is only used to do the dance offs. This means that there are a lot of buttons to push to play this game. I am still unsure of how to use the second special weapon that you choose in the beginning. But with the 4-way movement button and the 4 buttons to fight and defend and throw, and the back button to do special things - I'm not sure I can keep track of much more! Overall this is a good game. I definitely have games I regret purchasing and this is not one of them. ![]() Xiaolin Showdown $19.99 OK so i use to watch this show on kids wb... i watied for this game for a long time beucase of the show. The show is great, four kids finding magical objects and fighting evil to them first. The game is true to the television show and has very fun levels. The shen gong wu are very fun to use and the game has a "super smash bros." feel to it. The gameplay is very easy to get use to and is very fun after your first showdown. Overall if you loved the show and want to have you taste of the WU and each element of the monks get this game...you wont be dissapointed :) |
