Let me start by saying, of all the posters I found, I did like this the most. It's giant, laminated. Looks great, but right in the center, right dead center is a big square about 4x6 and it says, "Antique Style World Map. American Map Company."
I would be much happier if that weren't right in the center. Maybe I'm picky. I'd say buy this, it's beuatiful, but when it arrives and you hang that darn.... 50x38 poster it's awesome. But please tell me if that little label bothers you.

I was a bit reluctant to order this through Amazon after reading all the negative shipping reviews. After checking on the Rand McNally site and seeing the price there I decided to go ahead with Amazon as I have had great customer support on the few order I have had any problem with.

In September 2009 the map came in a sturdy triangular shaped tube box in excellent condition.

Also included with this map are two clips that make is a bit easier to hang it on the wall.

This is a beautiful map. Colorful, but not overly bright. I love that it is laminated and easy to clean after little fingers point and touch (as they should).
