This was a great read. Gail is really hitting her peak on Wonder Woman. This arc takes us into a world where Wonder Woman confronts a piece of her shadow self. We see the princess of power deal with characterlogical stresses and not necessarily in the holier than thou way these things tend to be spun for our top lady.

Diana has anger, she has a few flaws that come out and she is challenged to overcome them to do right. But she comes out of this stuff with some fantastic warrior skill demonstration lovely Bernard Chang art and Aaron Lopresti, the new WW artist gives us pure eye candy in a world of snow and wolves.

As cool as it was to find a non-dewy eyed princess toy for my girls Wonder Woman did not stand up to the 5 year old test. The shield piece broke first, the little pincher part that holds the shield on WW's arm split apart. Then the rope came off and was quickly lost. Then her arm came off. The little pin that holds the joint proved to the problem and after pinching it back in several times, it would come out more easily each time and was eventually lost. I am going to have to sew her arm together. Then WW's legs came off because her pelvis split open. The superglue may hold it for a bit, but I doubt it. Poor Wonder Woman.

Moral of the story - Put her on the shelf and look at her.
