![]() The Winchester Book $67.95 Madis is indeed useful for researching the original condition and factory options of Winchester rifles. His dates of manufacture are absolutely unreliable however. For the model '94 Renneberg's book "The Model '94, the First 100 years" and for the Model 70 Rule's "The Rifleman's Rifle: Winchester's Model 70, 1936-1963" are far better references. ![]() Winchester 22-01347 Small Wood Handle Tool $14.58 I bought this item to put in my tacklebox. Though compact and small, I found it to be quite useful for the purposes I got it. For one thing I don't want to carry a lot of stuff because I usually hike in to my spots. I carry only the necessities in a small plastic case. This multi tool is just right for this. It can unjam fishing line, it can cut line, it can hold a hook for sharpening or for tying a fly, and it can help loosen the hook from the fishes mouth. The Phillips screwdriver is just the right size for quick adjustments to my reels. The knife (with a little honing) is very sharp and holds it's edge. I don't use the other tools much, but I don't see why they could not be used. Yes, this multi tool is very small, but that is precisely it's value to me. I wouldn't buy a sledge to put a nail in the wall, so why buy a big Leatherman when you have small size jobs? ![]() Denix 1866 Lever-Action Repeating Replica Gun (Brass) $165.00 This is a great replica for the money. The entire piece is made of wood and metal. No cheap plastic parts. ![]() Winchester 22-41206 Large Bowie Knife with Sheath $34.56 Weighty, nicely finished, well put together; out of the box it's not so sharp, but a 2-3 surface water or oil stone if you want it to be good for campground use. SHeath is well constructed, belt loop heavy webbed nylon with a snap enclosure. |
