The other two WV books I ordered were much better and I recommend them in preference to this book. They are: West Virginia: An Explorer's Guide (Explorer's Guides) and Scenic Driving West Virginia.  University of West Virginia MOUNTAINEERS Yard Garden Gnome $35.00 The gnome is smaller and lighter weight than I imagined, but he will be a funny housewarming gift for my friend. No complaints.  M is for Mountain State: A West Virginia Alphabet Edition 1. (Discover America State By State. Alphabet Series) $17.95 My son was born in WV, so this will be a good read for Grandmother for her grandson!
