I just hope, he make the second edition, because it's 2002 book. Many things have been change or update now. Like there is a VPS (Virtual Private Server), and there are a file hosting business (like rapidshare, megaupload, etc), a game hosting (games is one of the biggest industry who use internet connection now), and some of link in the appendix (resources) have not working / have been change now. Creo que este libro es indispensable si ya eres un reseller de Web Hosting. Y si quieres pasar al siguiente nivel, es decir contratar servidores dedicados y revenderlos, entonces necesitas este libro. Empieza con la configuraci¸«Ņn de un Servidor, desde WHM, y yo que he configurado algunas decenas de servidores encontr¸«² muchos tips. La instalaci¸«Ņn y configuraci¸«Ņn del firewall por si mismo vale mucho m¸«¢s que el costo. En fin, si eres o quieres ser un proveedor de web hosting de verdad, por favor lee este libro. Y todo esto antes de entrar en la parte de mercadotecnia.  The Web Hosting Manager $19.90 I was looking for a book about web hosting, however, this provides little information. It is a VERY basic guide - mostly about business, little about web hosting.  Web Hosting Manual - How To Start Your Own Web Hosting Business $13.95 I can't believe I bought this book. It was a horrible waste of time. I got so angry at the author reading his extremely poor English, his vagueness and true inexperience with running a web hosting business it makes me want to sit down and write my own! I still can't believe I ordered this and read through most of it. I want my money back. |
