I was surprised to see plenty of words within the sentences which were not included on the word-side of the cards, but they may have been on the Level 1 cards, which we did not use. My son (5 years old) was quickly able to read all of the sentences without error--it helps to work on 20 cards at a time and to gradually increase the number of cards used in one sitting. Spelling vocabulary seems quite limiting as some "near misses" didn't generate the correct spelling. Display screen dosen't have enough pixels, so individual letters have a "choppy" image which can be difficult to read depending on lighting and angle of view. Not recommended. |
