![]() Virtual Villagers 2 [Game Download] $6.99 I purchased this game in March 2009 and played it for approximately 2 months. I really liked the game and had a lot of fun with it. However, in July, I tried to play the game again, but all of a sudden I can't get it to load. I keep getting a load error every time I try to load the game. I have tried unistalling and re-installing the game several times. I have contacted customer support through the game designer - no go. I have a very new computer running Windows Vista 64-bit. I just don't understand why it worked at first, but then one day it just stopped for no known reason. If it wasn't compatible with Vista 64-bit, it should've never worked to begin with. So I guess I'd have to say that if you have a Vista 64-bit - buyer beware. ![]() Virtual Villagers - The Secret City [Game Download] $6.99 At least there is replay value with this version... you have a couple factions to choose from, plus all the trophies you can get... this is one game that'll last a while. Now if only one of my ladies will have triplets.... ![]() Virtual Villagers [Game Download] $6.99 the game isn't very interesting. More like a really really simplistic Sims, (only can forage for food, build houses, and "make babies"), that is way more boring and really slow moving. I had them building a little cabin for like 25 real minutes. Yeah...took way too long. ![]() Virtual Villagers - The Lost Children $19.99 This is a great little game with a lot of valuable life lessons built into it. Your kids will quickly learn to balance work. If the villagers don't work, they don't eat. If they don't learn, they run out of food. If they don't train a doctor, someone can die without help. They learn a whole host of good things without a word from you. Sadly, the creators of the games seem to feel the need to build something dark into every game. With this one, you find that you are participating in black magic at the higher levels. For some folks, this might not be an issue, but as a Christian it just feels wrong. This is the second game that had an unpleasant surprise at the end, and we aren't buying the third one. |
