The "Vanguard VTD-2 Smooth Rolling Universal Video Tripod Dolly" is an affordable dolly that can be attached to your existing tripods (no tripod included). This functionality makes it ideal for video shooters who need to liven up shots with dolly moves, but don't want/need to invest in higher-end track/rail dolly solutions.

This works well on short carpet and smooth surfaces, but is bumpy and harder to move with even a little roughness. For this reason I would say only use it indoors and test your moves in advance of shooting (always a good idea anyway).

One other note, be sure to use a sturdy tripod since you should turn off your camera's automatic image stabilization.

I have been a long time MMO Gamer and I have to say, Vanguard is up there with one of my favorites. It runs smoothly on my Q6600, 8800GT 512, 4GB RAM (Windows XP so it's only 2.7) 500GB HD. Definitely not top of the line but better than some out there. Only problems are the slight loads between chunks which last up to 5 seconds max, while the game isn't seamless with this, it definitely is not something that really takes away from the game. The world is HUGE, and full of stuff. I play on the Xeth server and while it is not as populated as WoW or any other new MMO at the moment. There is a good community to the game with everyone from all levels. I have played for the past month and never had a problem finding people to play with or getting help.

The game was out with a really bad start but it has completely turned around and if more people played it would be even better. Definitely worth your time if you a MMO Fan and love games of this type (High Fantasy, etc)

lightweight, useful for travel, the ball head is kinda weak. we use a canon eos XTi and works just fine, but I think that the ball head will not lock after about a year...but it's a good price and will proably buy again when the current one dies.
