![]() Heart Station $20.98 Seems like every new album of Hikki's is my current fave, and this album is no different. There may be a little less soul, but this album shows musical genius that is truly Hikki. It's pure fun with danceable rhythms & orchestrated beats that I find most enjoyable working out or running. It lightens my heart, as does most of her music & lyrics, and puts a smile on my face. Heart Station is catchy with it's sultry lyrics that pulls you in. Just in her mid twenties, I cannot wait to hear what Hikaru will think of next... ![]() Distance $54.98 I love utada hikaru and her voice is amazing, it has a cool beat and Utada sounds natural singing it. :)) ![]() Exodus $13.98 When I heard this album, I thought the songs sounded very odd with all the metallic and futuristic sounds. But the oddness of the sound is just what is needed to break America of all these artists that sound the same. "Exodus", despite the lack of promotion, is a pot of gold in an industry full of lead. All the best on your breakthrough in the US, Hikaru Utada! ![]() This Is The One $9.98 this is definitely a solid album by utada. the melodies and most of the lyrics are smooth, fun and heart felt, and the only song i really did not like was Automatic II. more than anything the music in this album shows a fluidity and maturity that were lacking in her previous albums. i can sense utada feeling confident and relaxed when she's singing her songs, and that is something i've been waiting for since 1999. personally i like this album the best out of all her albums, both american and japanese. sure, some of her japanese hits may have better melodies and be more popular. but, like utada said herself, this is the one... that simply feels right. it's not a perfect album, but it's an album that gives you a view of the enormous potential that's slowly but surely coming from her. |
