I think the heading pretty much sums it up. It is frightening that people like this are permitted to publish books, let alone have children. Scary stuff.

I give this book four stars because five would mean I would buy it and since I didn't.... I liked it but it's not something I would probably read again. This is nothing against Spelling more just the nature of the book.

The funny thing is going into this I didn't know too much about Tori Spelling. I was pretty much neutral on the whole subject. I had seen some tabloid stories but I never watched 90210 and had only seen a few episodes of her cable show, Tori and Dean. I saw the book at the library and since I was looking for something light to read I picked it up.

The book is really funny. I give Spelling props for not talking too much trash about anyone, I was almost hoping for more behind the scenes look at 90210 (I might not have watched it but I've heard stories). I felt like she was very careful in portraying bad situations as saying they were from her point of view.

I think Spelling is the girl everyone loves to hate and she even admits to that rep - "poor little rich girl". The book made me see she was much more than that and I felt like she came across as (of course) very human. It was interesting to see how a celebrity feels on the other side of the constant lense of fame.

I guess the biggest thing I can say about this book is that it made me go and check out her second book.

I used to think that Tori Spelling was just plain annoying, but this series really shows how down to earth she is. Her and Dean are hilarious trying to run their B and B. So funny, you will have a whole new appreciation for Tori. Tried to order the second season of Inn Love, but it is on backorder. So funny, you won't be disappointed.
