I saw a trailer for this movie and immediately wanted to buy it. I'm glad did. In the week since purchasing it, I have watched it 5 times!


Dana Ashbrook has been around for a long time. Even though he's in his early 40s, he looks much younger. His large, expressive eyes have a bit of innocence to them and he has this slight quirkiness that is irresistible Oh and he's very easy on the eyes! He and Tisha Campbell-Martin have an adorable chemistry. It's not the kind of hot, sexually charged chemistry where you expect the thwo leads to rip each others clothes off every chance they get. It's a sweet, innocent chemistry. thought they not only looked adorable together. But, they played together well and seemed to enjoy each other.Rob's serious, uptight personality is a great compliment to Ann's feisty free spirit. The scenery in the film is GORGEOUS! I have never been much for mountains. But, after seeing this flm I have got to visit the Sierra Mountains.


I absolutely LOVED the scene where Rob(Dana Ashbrook) visits all the places he and his wife went.The reciting of the poem was just heart warming. I'll not spoil it for those who have yet to see it. Do yourself a favor and either rent it or just spend money and buy it. You wuill be so happy you did. Two thumbs up!

Tisha might be my all-time favorite biography and this book brings that epic story to wonderful, colorful life. I've read Tisha so many times and this book finally shows me the world that Anne Hobbs bravely made a better place. The photos are stunning, the layout is perfect, and it's made even more special by the fact that Lisa Johnson, the author, is also the granddaughter-in-law of Anne Hobbs Purdy. Thank you, Mrs. Johnson, for creating a beautiful book that should have been made a long time ago. Now if only Hollywood would make a movie... Seth

I have read this book so many times since it was first published. My dad met Anne in Chicken, while he was in Alaska, on a fishing trip and my parent's have a signed copy of the book. It is one of the most hopeful, delightful love stories ever written. I recommend it to everyone.
