![]() Thursday $24.99 This is by far one of my favorite movies. I don't understand the ~$100+ price tag on many of these copies.. it's criminal. Shop around, you'll find it cheaper, at a more respectable and competitive price. ![]() War All the Time $13.98 idk what it is about people only liking "Full Collapse" in my opinion, both of these cd's are equal. everysong in this cd absolutly nails it. i would higly recomend this cd if you want to get into the band, seriously, buy this. ![]() Common Existence $16.98 I'm new Thursday fan...I can't believe I didn't know about them until recently...but no matter. I saw them in LA a couple of weeks ago and I've listened to Common Existence start to finish 3 or 4 times now and I just gotta say...it keeps getting better and better...I love it when that happens. What's really weird is I don't normally listen to this kind of music...I'm more of a Radiohead, or White Stripes kind listener. Favorite songs...hard to choose, but Circuits of Fever, Friends in the Armed Forces, Resuscitation of a Dead Man, all are awesome...Great music...Great lyrics...Great passion!!! ROCK ON!!! ![]() Full Collapse $12.98 Full Collapse is such an incredible album because it has so many faces. Long songs, short songs, mad, glad, sad songs. It is not just one static song with one point of view. Til this very day, Full Collapse still has the best lyrics. Thursday is the first band i hated when i first listened to them and now Thursday is my favorite band hands down. The guitars are all about quality no quantity. Instead of playing a blast of nonsensical/heartless machine gun riffs like Dragonforce, Thursday ops to use all of the instruments for the sake of art. Thursday has incredible chemistry in the sense that they know all about creating tension and really know how its done when it comes down to making a breathtaking finale. Start off simple and end on fire, that is the formula. Don't listen to one of Thursday's songs and think you've heard it all, pick up Full Collapse and then pick up A City By The Light Divided (totally different sounding albums), especially if you are into artistic post-hardcore. Note: If it was'nt for this album, the 4th wave of so called emo would not have washed ashore. Sure, Thursday is emotional, but they are not the "emo" as you call/know it today. Full Collapse picked up steam halfway through 2001. Thursday went on break from touring around 2002 and when they came back in 2003 the music they performed was being called screamo. Before 2001, there was rap-metal and Nu-Metal, both are awful. 5/5 |
