I was disappointed with the sims 2 pets when I got it. I am a big animal lover, but this just isn't worth it. When I got the game, I didn't know that I couldn't control the pets. You can teach them tricks, but they never come in handy. I wanted to make a kitten but I couldn't because you can't make baby animals, the adult animals have to mate, and you can't control that. It gets really annoying, and all they pretty much do is sleep, eat, and walk around.
