![]() The Last Kiss $13.98 Damn, I mean after all the hype...... And I'm a Lox fan since Biggies "Last Day". Kiss' first album is a classic to me. Joints like "Put Your Hands Up" and "We Gon' Make It". And my favorite Jadakiss song ever,"Show Discipline" with Nas. When it comes to true mic skills, some people were just born with it. Jadakiss was indeed just born with it. His second album, "Kiss Of Death" was'nt as grimy as his first release, but it was still hot. Has a couple of club joints. Threw Mariah Careys' a** on there, you know. That was cool because of songs like "Still Feel Me" and the songs he did with Styles and Sheek, was fire and ice, as usual. But this............. I hate to say it, but this was a step down in my oppinion. Too much singing behind those "aight" beats, and I gotta' double check who made some of them. The song with Nas(What If) was one of the best songs on the album, and it's always entertaining to hear Kiss and S.P. trading bars. But to be honest. Nothing special. Maybe I should listen to it sommore'. Last time I listened to it was weeks ago and have'nt touched it since. It is'nt garbage, but it definitely did'nt live up to the hype. But on the same token, Kiss accomplished what he set out for....... Commercial success. I heard a lot of people actually baught the album. (Me included) Good for Kiss. Bad for the TRUE fans who knows what kiss is capable of. You're better off getting that "Kiss My Ass" mixtape instead of this if you're looking simply for dope beats, and dope rhymes. ![]() The Last Kiss [Blu-ray] $29.99 What are you, 10-years-old? Just because the characters are "all being jerks to each other," (as one reviewer stated) which clearly bothers you, is no reason to down-rate the movie. That's the point of the movie. If they weren't doing that, there would be no story. That's like not wanting to see a movie because the star gets killed or the hero doesn't meet with your standards of behavior. The worth of a movie is, (over)simply stated, if the story, actors, and other elements of a movie were good. You must have hated Romeo and Juliett because the lovers were rash enough to commit suicide. Similarly, "West Side Story." You must have to limit your movies to those that begin with "once upon a time," and end with "and they lived happily ever after." I was amazed that in so many reviews that I skimmed, many of Braff's fans didn't want him to portray a character that had serious flaws. It happens at times kiddies, that's life. If you want sugar and spice and everything nice, stick to kids' movies. ![]() The Last Kiss $13.98 Legendary rapper Jadakiss, always at the eye of the storm, puts an end to five years of speculation about his new album when the aptly-titled THE LAST KISS arrives in the physical and digital marketplace April 7th. The first single "Can't Stop Me" produced by Neo The Matrix follows up to the club banger "By My Side" feat. Ne-Yo and street smash "Letter To B.I.G"f t. Faith Evans off the Notorious movie soundtrack. The new album marks the second release on the mega-successful multi-platinum Ruff Ryders label. In the midst of delivering a highly anticipated album Jadakiss has also been working on a sneaker lifestyle website as well as upcoming BET reality show. THE LAST KISS is the long-awaited follow-up to Kiss Of Death, the second album by Jadakiss, released June 2004. The million-selling #1 pop and #1 R&B album turned out a trio of hit singles, starting with "Time's Up" (featuring Nate Dogg, produced by Scott Storch); then "Why" (featuring Anthony Hamilton, produced by Havoc); and "U Make Me Wanna" (featuring Mariah Carey, produced by Storch). THE LAST KISS picks up where Kiss Of Death left off, with the albums first official single "Can't Stop Me", guest appearances by Ne-Yo(By My Side), "Something Else" ft. On the strength of its three chart singles - "Knock Yourself Out" (produced by the Neptunes); "We Gonna Make It" (featuring Styles P. and produced by Alchemist); and "Put Ya Hands Up" - the album rose to #2/R&B and #5/pop, and went on to sell more than three million copies worldwide. Prior to starting his solo career, Jadakiss spent nearly a decade as a member of the legendary rap collective the L.O.X. (later known as D-Block), whose members included Styles P. and Sheek Louch. ![]() The Last Kiss $9.99 The Last Kiss soundtrack is great for anyone who wants to get to know some new artists. Zach Braff has great musical taste, and he showcases several talented musicians on this soundtrack. I would especially recommend this album to anyone who enjoyed the movie Garden State or its soundtrack. Many of the same artists from the Garden State soundtrack are featured here, making both albums equally great. There were definitely a few songs on the album that didn't appeal to me personally, but as a whole the soundtrack was pretty amazing. |
