![]() The L Word - Seasons 1-5 $179.99 I first saw an episode from a later season on Showtime, which somewhat ruined the anticipation of one particular event, but I didn't think that I would like this series at all from that episode. I kept hearing from my friends that I needed to watch it, so, I found it on Netflix and watched Season 1. I couldn't stop! I was instantly hooked with such appealing characters and a great story line. I found myself unable to pull away from it. I then purchased Seasons 1-5. I wanted to watch them straight through but found that difficult without completely failing in all aspects of my life. Obviously, I loved the series and couldn't stop watching. After finishing Seasons 1-5, I couldn't wait until Season 6 released on DVD and I bought it the day that it came out. I love the L Word and find myself thinking about it in a lot of different situations. I relate "real-life" to the show on several occasions during my day and I can't stop thinking about it. I love the characters and I wish there were more so that I could watch them too. I have re-watched most of the episodes by now and love the episodes every time I watch them. ![]() The L Word - The First Four Complete Seasons $149.98 I love the l word, I think it is an amazing show. Spain gives us "Girl Meets Girl" (Wolfe Video) about the love lives of lesbians in Madrid and it is addictive. The girls are gorgeous and the plot is full of twists and turns. Nines, a bartender at a lesbian bar, has sex with Monica who is just a real cutie. However, she runs away when things seem to get serious. Then along comes Carmen, straight but curious, who manages to mesmerize Nines. There is only one problem here--she is Monica's roommate. Nines falls for Carmen and tries to pursue her but Carmen has a boyfriend and Monica has already placed her claim on her. Monica soon gets a new roommate, Ana, who is in need of coaching in the area of female/female romance The dialog is hot and the movie is great fun. There are lots of laughs and it is hard not to fall for this wonderful film. |
